The feedback of @Kitty and @shadesofgrease regarding toys and gender made me wonder how traditional colors associated with gender, such as pink and blue, can be used without making the toy gender-specific. Introducing a second color works.
By the looks of it I'll introduce a broad pallet of colors for this toy. This thing will be so much fun! 🕶️

A new color combo for the nightlight toy car. Printing is stable now, I've printed 2 pink ones in production. Last few adjustments on the wheelcaps to help assembly and we're good.
I like this yellow/back, it's a tough looking cookie ^^

It took me a day to print all parts of the Bee version, seen here. There are 30 parts total. The body, axles and ears need support. All parts print without errors. Happy with the progress! I'll put it all together on day 90, and I'll be making a version where I will take all colors another step further.

We finally heared back from Jasons Mom. I've been really anctious for some feedback. His mum told me he's in love with it. The first night he actually got out of bed and hid it in a drawer. Asked why, he told his mum that he was worried someone would take it away. It's sitting next to his bed. Every night it's turned on when he goes to bed, and secretly turned off when he's sleeping.

It's been about 45 years (!!) since I last drew comic art. So I figured my next step should be to look for tutorials on drawing cute characters. My first sketches today, these are HB pencil focused on expression. Shout out to ArtRocket!

Long overdue update on Jason's car lamp. I've been very busy with other stuff, so it took me a while to assemble and glue all parts together. Very happy with the result. It's safe, strong and very cute. I've shown it to a couple of people and they love it. Haven't gifted it to Jason yet. The images are with the light off. I'll post a few more with the light on tomorrow.

But for now, I'm happy with how it turned out, and am excited to see if Jason thinks the same once I've finished it up! Which will STILL take me at least aonther day :derp:
