I had a lot of fun a few years ago, holed up in a remote cottage in the Lake District with some recording equipment and a bunch of different outfits. I turned myself into a one-woman choir, with a different outfit for each vocal part. This is one of the videos I made, of a short snippet of Big Dipper by @eltonjohn - chosen because of its wonderful harmonies.

I’m Gonna Leave You is one of my favourite Nina Simone songs (I love Nina so much), one of the ones she sings with pure attitude. On this occasion I had a go at performing it on one of the @manchesterjazzfestival pianos, at @factory_international ’s Aviva Studios, in Manchester.

Hubby Ally and I thought it’d be fun to perform Abba’s Mamma Mia as a ballad. I really love this take on the old classic. Recorded on one of our annual holidays on a remote hilltop in the Lake District, with a crackling real fire in the background.
