Put simply: I don't believe them (& I'm a pianist).

I have the piano solo, piano duet, and 2 piano 4 hands arrangements, but never had the honor, pianistic mastery or a capable piano partner willing to invest time to perform this work. I've known this piece for over 50 years and it continues to inspire. Was dedicated by Ravel to Johann Strauss II.
