Today is Phool Dei festival celebrated in Uttarakhand. Phool meaning flower & Dei is the pudding made of jaggery. It's a harvest festival to welcome spring and offer gratitude to the Divine. Children go door to door singing Phuldei, Phuldei Chamma Dei Daini Door Bhar Bhakar while adults give them rice, jaggery & money in return. Kids put flowers at everyone's doorstep & wish good luck and happiness. 🙏🏼🪷
