This is a rare album, only issued in Japan, and only in mono (as it was recorded), 10 years after it was recorded. (Four tracks appear in the MJQ: 40 Years CD box set.)

The Heath Brothers - Paris 76
Percy Heath from the Modern Jazz Quartet formed this group after the MJQ played it's "last concert" a few years earlier. (Of course, the MJQ got back together.)
Anyway - this was recently released on SAM records in a limited edition of 3000 and it’s...great.
