Found some odds and ends in my parts box, so dreamt up an RTC 'gadget' for my PAL-1 #mos6502 #riot #pal1

I've reimagined the KIM-1 ZipTape as a PAL-1 gadget, with snap-off RIOT adapter for those who don't already have one (i.e. me!)

Finally got round to a quick test of the PAL-1 serial i/f (here in its ttl form) ... sadly a simple loopback test fails, and worse, I won't have time to look at it again in detail until Monday. #pal1 #mc6850 #fail #retrocompting

Lookie here ... the PAL-1 Serial Interface Adapter boards have arrived at last. These can be built with either a DB9 RS-232 or 5v TTL connector.

Finished routing the PAL-1 Serial Interface Adapter. More vias than a swiss cheese ... well, more than I'd like anyway.
Can be built with either an RS232 DB9 connector or a TTL header.
