My monday morning gift to myself is to give up on #paintseptember. I bit off a bit more than I can chew. Was fun though.

More dishes for my #paintseptember challenge. I’m trying to improve my #painting skills with a quick sketch in acrylics of my dishes every day. #sketchbook #MastoArt

A still drying stack of plates and cutlery after a messed up but delicious plum tarte tatin this morning. Catch up for yesterday’s #paintseptember. Will do this evening’s dishes for today. #stilllife #MastoArt #painting

The chair stuffed with stuffed toys. One of the last of #drawingaugust, am looking forward to do a daily paint sketch for #paintseptember. #Sketch #continuousline

Still on holiday, still retreating from Twitter. Saw a tweet grom the Taliban happily endorsing there and being negative about here. Yeah.

So, I am thinking: I will do #inktober over here. And will start the daily sketching with #drawingaugust and continue with #paintseptember.

These hashtags mean a daily sketch in that medium during that month. They were the trigger for my career as an artist. It’s strange to let that go. So I hope some of you will join me!
