Otsego Lake and Otsego County

At the southern tip of Otsego Lake is the Village of Cooperstown, the County Seat of Otsego County, New York. Within the village in particular is the National Baseball Hall of Fame and the Fenimore exhibitions.

She wrote,

"We #Admire the #Strange & #Brilliant #Plant of the #Greenhouse,
but we #Love most the #Simple #Flowers we have loved of old,
which have bloomed many a #Spring,
through #Rain & #Sunshine,
on our #Native #Soil."
