Estaba pensando en lo desiguales que se me están haciendo los episodios y que a veces hay que separar muy bien el grano de la paja en cuanto a combinaciones de director/guionista. Esta 2a ha habido un par abismales, especialmente en el 2x06: Aunque este sea un tipo de serie que aguante casi todo lo que le eches, aún así a veces hay límites. Como meterme a Smoker y a Tashigi en peleas vacías sin ningún tipo de resolución o ponerte con que Luffy tiene que escalar la montaña a mano cuando al final puede lanzar a Sanji a la cumbre usando sus habilidades.
Cosas que si molan: Lo en serio que se toman el ser lo más ridículos posible. La felicidad que me da ver los peinados y las ropas, espero que vestuario, maquillaje y peluquería ganen todos los premios posibles. Las tarjetitas de presentación de Baroque Works o los carteles de Se Busca son un detalle fantástico.
Las interacciones entre la tropa se me hacen un poco desmañadas, pero no sé si es que todo el mundo es mal actor o, una vez más, ese combo de dirección/guión que no acaba de cuajar. Aún así, como no puedes evitar proyectar lo mucho que los quieres del cómic, consiguen salvarse gran parte de las veces.
Es una serie que creo que solo recomendaría si te has leído el manga, porque de verdad que ver cómo adaptan las cosas es una maravilla. El casting está insultantemente bien encontrado. -

There are some really good casting choices in One Piece Live Action Season 2. Some of my favorites are for Vivi, Dr. Kureha, Dr. Hiriluk, Miss Valentine, Crocus, and Brook. I think this season was even better than the first.

Okay... So... There is a worrisome little thought about what would come from Season 2+3 of a OPLA.
What would happen with Bon Clay- Mr. 2? We should all know how sensitive the topic of LGBTQ/Drag Queens/Queer Representation has been and will likely continue until people stop being assholes.
Bon Clay is the dictionary definition of an over the top stereotype of a group of people that are definitely tired of being the butt of the joke. Whether Bon-chan is good or bad representation is another matter.
The question is what can be done in Live Action?
