#OneTab is a great #browser #extension, and the fact it works with #Firefox, #Chrome, and #Safari makes it even better!

But One Tab has this very annoying feature whereby if you accidentally click on "Share all as web page" then every tab you've saved will be sent to One Tab's servers and shared publicly with a unique URL.

And even a QR code!

Since there's no way to disable this "feature" in One Tab I figured I'd just block the domain in #NextDNS.

Which is what prompted me to make this post....

If you use something like Pi-Hole or NextDNS or another service to manage your DNS, don't forget they make great block-lists for your own shit you want to avoid! For example I have both CNN and Slashdot blocked in NextDNS because CNN is fucking bullshit now and muscle memory is a thing, and Slashdot is .... Slashdot.

I really like the OneTab extension for Firefox, but it's missing a crucial feature: Clearing the list of tabs and starting fresh. I like to round up all my tabs, save a dump of the URLs after I've worked on a story, and restart Firefox with an empty slate.

But OneTab has no feature to clear its list of tabs - it can only be done manually. Anybody know of a good way to work around that or of an extension similar to OneTab that does have that feature?

I was starting to wonder why my computer was a little sluggish and then I put all of my tabs into #OneTab LOLOLOLOLOL

My current browser/tab management process:
* I always end up with way too many windows/tab, so periodically:
* launch a #OneTab page, hit the "Bring All tabs into OneTab" link
* restart browser
* review OneTab - delete some clusters, open some that I immediately need

@diazona @[email protected] Thank you for your thoughts, apart from (2) which is disabled on most browser setups (e.g. mullvad-browser, arkenfox) I totally see how just typing some words in the address bar might be enough and using bookmarks for stuff you want to check one later. I got so used to #onetab extension that the builtin bookmarks feel sluggish. But I will try to change my behavior and see how it goes.

@maikelthedev 🥥 Firefox natively now includes the ability to reopen with the tabs as they were when you quit. It's somewhere in Settings.
