What is the significance of power to your main character?Power is the means to an end, but is not an objective in itself.
Power is the means to liberate worlds, provide justice and fair treatment to all regardless of status or rank.
It is how power should be used, right?

Some feedback I have very recently received (not ignoring the errors also pointed out)...
George: "“You are all facing annihilation simply because you are unable, or unwilling, to negotiate the terms of my surrender. How do you think that makes me feel?”
Editor: Read that line again, children. The "sentient blob" has Feelings. Loyalties. Honor. Hoo-RAH.
Me (reading feedback): *emotionally choked* - that's exactly what I wanted the reader to see/feel at that moment.

Name something you love about your MC.
His growth throughout the series. He never stops trying to be the best he can.
He gets a lot of help along the way, and he learns to admit when he's wrong/made a mistake.
He also learns to value people without judging them.

Do others get frightened when your SC is angry?
If the SC is almost any one of the Marauders... they'd be wise to be frightened.
If the SC is Captain McDermott... wary is more appropriate.
If the SC is Chief Engineer Francis Warren... embarrassed, educated, and chastised would be the result.
But if it's George... just say "Ow!" 'cause he'll zap you!
Fear is not a weapon, it is your response to a potential threat.
