#OGPSummit panel on Rethinking Democracy Support. Marybeth Goodman of OECD on aid cuts: The U.S. “has been the most chaotic, most destructive, most rapid decline”, but other nations also cutting aid. Humanitarian aid has had sharpest cuts, 2nd-most democracy & governance, 3rd health, 4th education.

Excellent session at the #OGPSummit on the fight against SLAPPS: protecting journalists and promoting media freedom. The U.S., in part bc of litigious nature & possibility of huge $$$ settlements, was already vulnerable to SLAPPs, yet it is a new scenario for the President to be the main instigator.
