New call - Open Education for a Better World. The #OE4BW program is a mentoring program where Open Education practitioners (developers) that want to contribute to a better world through addressing the Sustainable Development Goals are matched with the guidance of internationally recognized mentors in developing #OER.

Congratulations to Tanja Urbancic, former dean of management and engineering at the University of Nova Gorica, for receiving the lifetime achievement award in higher education from the Ministry of Eeducation of the Republic of Slovenia. She is a founder of two important #oer programs, #OE4BW and the first accredited degree program in OER Leadership.

That was a good initial #OE4BW meeting with Vicky and Waaiza. The charter allowed them to decide what they were wanting from this arrangement. I put on some Mozart, and we each worked on a the H%P charter independently. Perhaps could have done a shared doc? I had created another resource on padlet, to help us get know each other better, shake things up, spark new thoughts, and collect examples of our mutual capabilities' Didn't use it.

In between cycle two and three, I contributed to a PLOS piece about mentorship “Ten simple rules for establishing a mentorship programme” - https://journals.plos.org/ploscompbiol/article?id=10.1371/journal.pcbi.1010015. Looking forward to reviewing these 10 ideas, before entering into this complex, collaborative and interactive process with my mentee.
