Before last weeks update I never needed to set "nvidia-drm.modeset=1" kernel paramater for my ancient nvidia driver (nvidia-390xx), I have even added the "nvidia-drm.fbdev=1" kernel paramater that I don't think is absolutely requierd. As far I understand it wasn't needed up until this point, at least I have not done it before and everything worked just fine before, it was only required to never nvidia video cards using newer drivers.
