Yeah, I give people a chance on Mastodon (the ones who are obvious nutcases) so I usually follow back. It's good to mix up your timeline a bit.
However, I should try to be less obscure with some of my posts. Every now and then I attract some conspiracy type or right whinger or something.
I do like discussing conspiracy ideas. That doesn't mean I endorse them.
But it's OK really. Once I realise my mistake I just block them.
Still it feels like a loss.
