Nscale, a UK-based 'unicorn' (calling it ‘home-grown’ is questionable) was incorporated in May 2024. They have never built a data centre. They've acquired a data centre in Norway, started another, and all the rest are planned (according to datacentermap.com/c/nscale-ltd). Yet they're apparently a key player in the UK's 'sovereign AI' strategy. How???
They don't publish any environmental impact data and their 'transparency' email address doesn't work. I know because I just tried to ask about their projected water consumption for the Loughton data centre (which doesn't exist yet) and got a bounce-back. I estimate ~2 mil litres per day, but I'm not an engineer, just using a shared formula, and wanted to hear their favourable estimate. I wonder if it was ever considered during the planning application.
How exactly does their timeline translate to "deep expertise"? How have they convinced everyone to treat them like an inevitable force of nature?

Also been working on a better N-Possible coupler conversion for the Kato NW2 using a SBX model coupler. It requires a bit more cutting and shutting than the drop-in URS replacements, but will look a lot better in the end, will fill the giant hole left by the stock coupler removal, and should actually end up with the knuckle at the correct height above the rail head.

More fine N-scale goodness: Bluford hopper, N-Possible couplers, Intermountain wheel sets, and MicroEngineering code 40 rail (code 55 behind that).

So I was planning on putting down a single track, but relented at the last minute and installed both — the whole point of a T-Trak module is to plug it into a larger layout, and lets face it everyone else will have two track mains, so it's most useful doing same.

It's shame Kato doesn't make Unitrack in code 55 or even code 40. Would make T-Trak a lot more appealing for building an actual layout from.

Picked up one of Mark Jesser's laser cut ply T-Trak single modules to take for a test run.
Very nicely done, fits together well. Looking forward to putting it together and get some track and scenery on it - this will be the first time I've actually had some track down in something like 40 years.

my advice would be to just checkout kato N scale pocket line range, buy a set and an oval. can get away with it for under 80€. plus the models are cute and run well!
