Had a lovely time at #Novacon. Met some very friendly people who were very patient with the technical difficulties I had with my talk slides 😅 did a bit of Morris dancing. Drank some nice beer. Home time!

Home from Novacon 53. Programme items attended: few. Hours of rubbish talked in bar: many. Damage to credit card from Art show: moderate.
Slightly disappointed the big neon sign has gone from the tower of the Palace Hotel Buxton though. It was bright, garish, out of keeping with the building but I rather liked it.

It's Bon Jovi time!
I managed to get about 3,000 words squared away for #NaNoWriMo while I was at #Novacon this weekend.
It was my very first convention, so I was kind of hiding in a corner with my head in a book at first, but everyone was very friendly and I had a great time chatting to people! I enjoyed the art show, too – there was a nice range of styles on display.
