Decided not to ride in today due to wind direction and precipitation forecast. So I’m on a delayed train. And actually the weather isn’t too bad ;-) Did remember to pack my change of clothes so I can ride in sans bag on Wednesday though and got an extra hour or so of sleep after comforting my nightmare afflicted daughter :-)

According to Strava I have not been this unfit since I had Covid and was off the bike for quite some time. This time it was just low level illnesses of the body and the head. Did ride today (to the train and back), first time on a bike since I rode to Derby at the end of last month! This is unprecedented - I’ve been choosing other modes of transit and haven’t had the time or inclination to ride indoors or out for pleasure/fitness. This is of course OK. #cycling #NotCycling

Hey, we have entered a new continent. Hello Asia 🤩! How cool is that! 🥳
Since Fiona was feeling sick, we took the first affordable hotel room we found as soon as we arrived in Lapseki.
And here we are... since three days... Fiona is feeling a little better, but now Marc has the same symptoms. That's why we stay here...
drink tea, sleep, repeat...
ps: luckily the room is an appartment with a kitchen and a funny little bathtube to sit in. So grateful for that!
