Replaying No One Lives Forever 1 after completing the sequel and... it's good. Really good.
What the #BoomerShooter of today overlooks is that after #HalfLife the #FPS had finally moved on from the so-called #DOOM clone model and could be anything it wanted. #NOLF is a perfect Y2K example that couldn't exist today. If you have any interest in FPS variety, you must play play it.

Playing No One Lives Forever 2. I completed the first years ago but didn't immediately start the second. #NOLF 1 is pretty clunky, but otherwise stellar pseudo-stealth #FPS with decent level variety. NOLF2 is more serious and slower paced in tone and is being an absolute slog to get through a particular level with infinite respawning guards and the need to back track multiple times across areas that are hell to cross unseen. #retrogaming

What's the point of setting up an emulated Windows 98 SE system without playing some games? Here's a classic from the year 2000 and one of my absolut favourites! No One Lives Forever!
P. S.: NOLF runs pretty smoothly on my 86Box and an emulated Pentium MMX 233MHz + Voodoo 3 3000 graphics card. Everything seems to work, although I think this game would feel more at home on a faster machine and Windows XP.
