@wjmaggos @realcaseyrollins #FoxNews and #NewsmaxTV, and I’ve seen a technically SFW picture of a bloodied crib from one of the beheaded baby bodies.
I’ll look for a link to some reporting when I’m back at my desk. I’ve generally been following #TimesOfIsrael and #AlJazeera’s liveblogs today but work today’s been too busy for me to keep close tabs on those. Listening to the news on the radio is easier.

Tuning into #NewsmaxTV! They’re not part of the #MSM but they basically parrot whatever talking points #Trump supports, and #Trump doesn’t support #KevinMcCarthy getting removed so it’ll be interesting to see what their coverage of this will be back.

Looks like they’ve made Jeryd Mencken into the image of who the #MSM thinks #Trump is.
Real-world, there’s some slight precedent for something like this. #Trump did ask #Georgia to “find the votes”, and #NewsmaxTV acted like #Trump was the president for like a month after the 2020 election. It’d be more realistic for Mencken to have somebody else talk to a lower-level employee at ATN. Speaking so directly is a terrible optics move that I don’t even think #Trump would do.

It’s really weird that Logan thinks that a full-on hard-right pivot will work for ATN. In the history of cable news, we have never seen a channel do a bald-faced pivot to opinion 24/7 and succeed. I don’t think #CNN or #FoxNews have tried this, but #MSNBC certainly has and it failed spectacularly.
Both #CNN and #FoxNews have a “news-in-the-daytime, opinion-in-the-nighttime” format that works well enough. Yes, both have their firebrands in #RachelMaddow and #TuckerCarlson, respectively, but that doesn’t dominate the airwaves.
In the real world, a move like this could cause the channel to implode. Best case scenario, they get kicked off of cable like #NewsmaxTV did.
