  1. @trevdev You might want to give a look at nvim-orgmode:
    nvim-orgmode.github.io/

And if you don’t mind a slightly different approach, Neorg is really impressive:

    #vim #neovim #OrgMode #neorg

  3. @profoundlynerdy Have you heard of #neorg to organize your notes and stuff within (neo-)vim? Dunno if its compatible though.

  4. Evaluating Doom Emacs w/orgmode, alongside Neorg in Neovim. I've been running up against markdown's limitations & feel a more robust format is needed.

I love the philosophy behind #Neorg, esp. the efforts at developing a portable syntax that isn't tied to any specific editor/ecosystem (insert xkcd 927). I find a lot of the criticisms that come up in searches regarding what it lacks in comparison to #orgmode are already outdated.

Keeping to one ecosystem would be the most ideal, but we'll see.

  5. For my reporting notebook I use #LogSeq and #Obsidian in tandem. I am worried about the future-proofedness of both, however, and LogSeq's venture funding. Do any followers use #Neorg or similar and would that be a replacement?

  7. @publicvoit @nnungest @curtismchale Have you been following the project? I don't use emacs, so I can't comment on feature parity, but I really like the early design decisions and roadmap:

  8. I have being using #neorg on #neovim to take notes for the last 2–3 months, to create CTF write-ups and work notes etc. These are from my #SatelliteHacking class I am taking, fascinating world for #radiocomunications and #astroCommunications, I really love to get out of my comfort #hacking zone (Network, systems, web) to learn and expand to new frontiers and I think Hacking in this area is the fast approaching future of #hacking #HackAllTheThingz
