Tadd KA2DEW has been a very generous Elmer to me since I popped into a chat room he was in asking about #meshtastic and next thing you know he's sticking a Kenwood 70cm rig in my hand & recruiting me to build a #TARPN node for #NCPacket. He's been really awesome and teaching me so much.

I don't think I met Carl yet. But I've only been to 2 club gatherings so far. Just getting back into it.

* Call me Magnus! The FCC doesn't but everyone else does.
* I earned my Technician privileges before I had the time or $$ to do much with it. So I'm basically a "baby ham" in 2024.
* Giddy about projects / experiments to make our hobby more relevant & accessible to young & disadvantaged folks.

@W1CDN @wz0c not much #TARPN content here. Sorry to resurrect an ancient thread, but have you tried it yet? I’m luck enough to live 70cm simplex range from KA2DEW so I’m building my own node now. #NCPacket
