Very interested to have received my DNA ethnicity estimate via MyHeritage. Born in England, I am the result of forebears all hailing from various regions of northern and central Europe as shown on this map. The 31% Scottish heritage was a surprise.

I only use our generational name marker now;all other family kids in generation bowed to pressures to take Western names & I consistently refused to do same. I'm very proud of my Teochew name. It is Que Phung - Vietnamese spelling as I was born during Saigon war in Saigon. It translates to Phoenix.
