By the way, I recorded the painting process for this piece from sketch to finish.

And because I was a super n00b back then, it was split into 2 parts. Part 1 is just the sketching part and me talking about Late Bronze Age Mycene and its women.

For this painting I combined my love for painting and my love for old things (although as someone with a degree in archaeoloy I don't consider the Late Bronze Age as that old, it's all a matter of perspective 😂 ).
I had the privilege to visit an exhibition on Mycene a few years ago with one of my profs who's specialized in the Bronze Age Agean as the guide. Seeing archeological objects in person is always an amazing experience.
