I went for a walk - rescued a turtle from the road. It smelled. Bad. Its a Musk turtle. Didn't know those were a thing. You scare it and it release a scent. I accept your stink and you didn't get squished. #turtle #muskturtle #savetheturtles

The weird weather has extended injured turtle season again. This wee musk #turtle was found caught in a boat propeller by the folks cleaning and winterizing the boat. His injuries are extensive and from the healing that's already happened I'd guess he was stuck in there a couple of days. Yet he's walking around and trying to bite me. Also, his musk gland works. I hope he hangs on.
