I found my first post on renoise forums - from 2008.
I think I actually downloaded first Renoise for Linux beta 1.9.1 in 2008 and then bought Renoise 2.0 for Linux for ~60€ - which lasted till next full version 3.0, when I paid another ~70€ for next major version (until 4.0), which is still ongoing. So I spent less then 150€ in 16 years for a DAW that works on Linux (with JACK/PipeWire) and had a few crashes here and there but is rock solid and packed with amazing -- and unique! -- features - some of them rather experimental but fully functional - a true marvel of a software if you ask me.
If I'd need to decide what to take on an island without internet, it would be #SuperCollider, #Renoise, and #Ardour on an Linux laptop.
(BTW I used ScreamTracker 2)

Two versions (7.2.87 and 7.2.89) of my primary #opensource #DAW/ #tracker - #Radium has been released. First version introduces the ability to compile for the #arm architecture, improves GUI performance, and updates some dependencies (bdw-gc, QScintilla). Second version (7.2.89) fixes some bugs (e.g LV2 plugins support). For more info see https://users.notam02.no/~kjetism/radium/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=447

i thought Qxx was an effect called 'trignote' - yeah it meant to retrigger that sample very fast in the #MusicTracker software, but now i cannot find that actual word/expression in the help inside #SchismTracker - there, Qxx effect is explained as "Retrigger note...".
so where do I have this TRIGNOTE word in my mind since forever?
anyone seen this someplace?

Hey Ben, got a couple of #MusicTracker questions…So i have Music Tracker on my iphone and my ipad. I see three (3!) spatial audio playlists in my apple music app on my mac. And, they all have different numbers of tracks…? What should I do?
I also have four categories of music: purchased, uploaded, matched, and Music. Your app checks against Music only?
Is there a good way to check against the other three categories?

Hi, my name is Andrzej Kilijański and I (trying to) create electronic music. Because my last name is hard to pronounce/remember, I came up with the nickname Akimaze 😎
I am also a programmer involved in many open source projects. Mostly Castle Game Engine and Radium #tracker I was also a LMMS contributor (first #DAW I used).
Now, I use the #opensource #Radium #musictracker most of the time.I will usually send messages about #musicproduction, #music I made or I'm working on.
