I noticed that many artists on Last.fm seem to have lost over half their popularity. 📉

Seems like they are losing a lot of scrobbles from Spotify :spotify:, who now have chosen to silently disconnect users every 6 months. 💀

So yeah, if you are Spotify × Last.fm user, then you might want to check your profile is still linked:

I wrote yesterday about the problem I was having with a company not accepting an email mask.

Apparently they won't explain why, just a blanket no.

So in case anyone else wants to avoid these issues then do not try using the music streaming service Tidal. It was the last streaming service I subscribed to as a user but will now be cancelling.

Edit: Just found out Tidal is owned by Block Inc and Jack Dorsey.... These fucking tech bros....
