    I hate #PENDMAS because it is misleading.

    There are three #arithmetic #operations: #additions, #multiplications and #powers. They are #geometric expansions similar to a #line to a #square to a #cube.

    The other three: #subtraction, #division, and #roots are no different than the above except in #direction. They are geometric #reductions.

    To truly understand one you must understand the other.
