This gentleman is reviewing one of my favourite #multimeters, the Brymen BM869s, a superb, affordable, handheld model, made in Taiwan, which is excellent for both power and electronics applications. Oh and, 100 kHz and 500k-count, to boot!
His opening salvo: "... many industries have standards based on the 'colour' of multimeters ...".
How absolutely true, especially when it comes to the "yellow jacket" variety.🤣

Analogy between the #Haskell functional #programming language versions and the #Fluke #multimeters for my fellow #EEs:
• Haskell 1998 ≈ Fluke 189
• Haskell 2010 ≈ Fluke 289 -
Besides the #ARRL handbook, I ended up with theses two #analog #multimeters for 5AUD each. Still yet to test them as they not come with leads and I not the bits here to make leads up.
The meter on the left surprised me as it in a metal case, guess people like their meters to be on the spicy side with the odd tickle 😹
