Back in March, I posted that Troop 502 in Mt Pleasant, SC attempted the largest blanket fort ever, but they didn't quite get it. They went back and evaluated their process to prepare for a 2nd attempt in May.
That May attempt was just confirmed by Guinness to be the largest blanket fort this world has ever seen. Felicitations to the girls and boys of Troop 502 and Pack 502!

The scout troop that my congregation sponsors had their 2nd attempt today of setting the world record for largest blanket fort. They did some evaluating of their previous attempt and -- though the paperwork has to be filled out and confirmed -- they did it! They made a 12,200+ ft² blanket fort, compared to the previous record of 9,000+ ft².
