Listened to a BBC episode of The Moral Maze about veganism. Usual stuff: non of the panel were even vegetarian and the general air of pro-meat sarcasm and bullying lingered - even from self-avowed “communist” Ash Sarkar. Weirdest part was when one of the panel started explaining that Genesis says that Adam and Eve were fruitarians and God gave permission for humans to eat meat after the Fall. Just weird! Ed Winters did marvellously arguing with the panel. I shall put his book on my to-buy list.

Personally I'd set an upper age limit on political decision making, not a lower one. It's people who are going to live in the future who should make decisions about it!
