This is probably a late reaction since it's been out for awhile. But I must say that I didn't expect to throw an episode of "Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur" on and be greeted by the voice of David Tennant as an alien "dog".

Think it's the first time I've seen anyone in a cartoon playing spades. It's always go fish, bridge, or poker for go-to card games in cartoons. (Spades not as popular a card game with white audiences?)

One thing I was worried about with the first images shown of #MoonGirl was that it would be another Teen Titans Go. Thankfully, that is not the case. Just finished the first episode and it is more like a Spectacular Spider-man writing wise. So that is a relief. I loved Spectacular. And I like Moon Girl.

So far, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is good. It is definitely targeting a younger audience, but it is doing it in a way that is accessible to all ages. It is frantic but fun. The animation is pretty good and voice acting is excellent. Haven't made it through the first episode yet, but they aren't dragging anything out. They pretty much jumped right into DD's introduction and MG's origin as a hero. #MoonGirl
