Pluralsight recently published another one of my blogs: “What to emphasize on your resume as a cloud engineer.”
In it, I breakdown tips on:
• A breakdown of essential cloud skills - networking, security, scripting, DevOps, databases, & observability
• The key cloud skills hiring managers look for
• How to highlight projects, certifications, and soft skills effectively
• Ways to make your resume stand out in a competitive marketIf you’re new to cloud or looking to make a move, check it out. There’s a lot of movement in tech right now, and I hope this post is helpful for anyone working to land their next role.

Yesterday was the first full-size, full-scale Minnebar since the pandemic started…and it was magical.
Seeing the familiar faces, the new faces, the sessions, the indie game arcade, and the excitement was like the sun coming out from behind the clouds.

Minnebar 17 is now accepting sessions! https://sessions.minnestar.org The event isn’t until April 22, but no time like the present.
Note that you’re not •applying• to lead a session at Minnebar; you’re •volunteering•! This is an unconference. Sessions are volunteer-driven. They’re fluid. You can give a polished talk, share something cool, facilitate open-ended discussion, or just invite folks to gather around a shared interest. Jump on in!
ALSO: First post! Ha!
