All I've done is take it out of the box, but the packaging and overall production value of the Superstation One is impressive.

Il grande 👁️ vi osserva 😱

The SuperStation One I ordered a while back turned up this week and it is a lovely device. Basically a single-board implementation of MiSTer FPGA with a nice enclosure in the style of the psone. Completely compatible with the stock MiSTer FPGA software/gateware stack (modulo some improvements in the analog video path, but for HDMI/VGA you can just install the standard build, cores, etc and it all Just Works). $250.

Migrating from toot.community to cupoftea.social so here's an #introduction ...
I'm Hilly, #GenX dad. I love messing on with #computers and #gameconsoles #handheldgaming #MiSTerFPGA, and my #ThinkPad . Really getting into #linux recently, daily driving #CachyOS and runnning #Debian and #AntiX on some older laptops too. Music is important to me, lots of #90s stuff like #grunge #indie #britpop #triphop and also current artists like #MagdalenaBay #AmylandtheSniffers and #CowboyHunters . I believe that this is ife and there's nowt after it so might as well get on with everyone and the big roundie under my feet.

Someone once said to me "how can you be so smart, make a 3D printer, make a CNC router, work on computers, and have trouble supporting your self", well to me computers and making things are easy, socializing, doing paperwork, keeping on task, and working with others is very hard, people just don't understand #Autism, #ADHD, and learning disabilities very well 🤷♂️ Here is a #MiSTerFPGA I made and then abandoned when I got distracted with another project.💾

I've also added programming guides which describe the capabilities of the APU and VDP, and how the CPU is intended to operate with them:

Decided to put up a public repository of my WIP new fantasy console, the "GameJimmy" - except it's not just a software emulator, it's a low level FPGA implementation that runs as a MiSTer core! :)

If you're in the #retrogaming community, there's almost no doubt you've heard of the MiSTeR system at some point. A community developed open source FPGA emulation device. Don't believe the hype. There are issues with this, it's not perfect emulation like you see so many claims... and to make matters worse they keep doubling down on using AI to help make the cores. You can see this brought up over and over on their forums. Just... don't bother.

Well, tried to fight Ozma in FF9.
Went about as well as I expected.

Does look kinda ridiculous with component cables plugged into such a system tho #Gaming #RetroGaming #MisterFPGA

Finally got the SuperStation One hooked up to the CRT via component. Looking good :-)
Excuse CRT scroll, still impossible in 2026 to take a picture of a CRT lol.

@masek I have loads of VGA cables, as the VGA port ist the best and most common connector for analogue video. I even sell selfmade adapters from VGA to SCART, S-Video and Composite. Retrogamers love them. ;-) #misterfpga
