We've had the privilege of witnessing Rosa grow from a newborn pup into the intelligent, loving, and fierce wolf that she is today. Her tenacity inspires us, and we're so thankful that her children were raised by this powerful female - they will be better wolves because of her.

Federal employees killed an endangered Mexican gray wolf.
Affectionately named Rusty by a middle school student in a nationwide contest, the wolf was killed on April 12, leaving behind his likely pregnant mate and several yearling pups.
Get this... The Service quietly authorized the killing on March 29, 2023 – on the day marking the 25th anniversary of Mexican wolves’ return to the wild.

Yes, #MexicanGrayWolf is the most #endangered sub species of wolves in the world. They lack #GeneticDiversity & it’s critical for them to be able to pass freely between the US & Mexico. Trump & his #BorderWall put the species into even greater peril. One wolf was observed pacing at the wall for 23 miles, unable to continue south. -
