Recently I dabbled around a bit with PureBlog on my actual web space behind a temporary directory protection in order to properly configure and play around without disturbance.
While discovering all those options of PureBlog I'll found out that it didn't have an integrated dedicated media library, explicitly didn't used lacked as wording in this context.
At first, this felt like a major bummer for me and I was already on the way of closing and deleting everything for good. But then I thought further about this experience and after a bit of internal speech I'll came to the conclusion that the so called need of having a certain feature is a habit developed by the previous systems called WordPress that in the end almost destroyed blogging for me.
Having a dedicated media library is nice to have but there is no actual need for this feature in that context!
