Eight Short of a Dozen (2026)
Cuatro aventuras para #Mausritter por Norgad ( https://norgad.itch.io/ ). Las compré durante el #MausritterMonth y las he recibido ahora. Me encanta el diseño, muy OSR con muchas listas y uso de negrita para énfasis. Todas tienen tablas de ganchos, de encuentros y un mapa navegable por salas. Las ilustraciones son escasas pero evocativas y usar un sólo color en cada aventura dan un estilo característico a cada una. Además la mezcla de formatos es impresionante, aunque todas miden un A5 guardadas.
I Miss You Very Much (A4 tríptico): una fuente decorativa difícil de escalar. Encima de ella la fuente de todo el agua: una grulla que no puede parar de llorar, y que es capaz de hablar con los muertos si se le entrega una parte de sus cuerpos.
Stragglers (A5, 8 páginas): Una mina abandonada donde se mezcla la avanzada tecnología de excavación y la magia primal que ha despertado a los minerales de las profundidades.
Hot Property (triple A5): una bomba abandonada en el centro de un lago hace de cuartel general de una mafia ultracapitalista que ha estado extorsionando a los alrededores. Sin embargo, un grupo de rebeldes en busca de justicia van a realizar una incursión de alto riesgo.
Leaves & Embers (A3 desplegable): Habéis sido invitados a un banquete por una vieja maga que retira, en su casita del árbol bonsai. Sin embargo, durante la fiesta hay una explosión, y tanto el árbol como la casa humana recuperan su tamaño natural, provocando una huida de una enorme casa en ruinas y en llamas.
Son todas muy originales, me encantan. Muy recomendadas.

A good moment in my first #mausritter game was a 5e player noting that they thought there was a pattern between some items they found.
5e Player: "I think that the designs have some commonality between them... I'm wondering about that"
Me, the DM: "Okay, well, you have the info you have. Let me know if you want to investigate the room any further."
5e Player: "... OH NO! I forgot there's no check I can make for this! I have to use my brain--NO!"

Finished a six year campaign of "Descent into Avernus". How did it become 6 years? I abandoned that garbage module and just made my own dungeons for 4 years.
Now to play anything but 5e for a whole--like #mothershiprpg, #drawsteel and #MausRitter.

"The crab spider … ambushes bees on flowers. It changes colour to match the flower and waits with outstretched legs. When a bee lands it snatches her and injects venom into her neck. Not every attack succeeds … Bees that had been ambushed later … hovered cautiously and inspected flowers for far longer than bees with no prior trauma."
