Stopping for lunch at Michi-no-eki Hana-no-Sanseien-Izu-Matsuzaki (道の駅 花の三聖苑伊豆松崎), we came across "Nan-nan-sei no Kaze" (南南西の風) a sculpture in black stone by Katsuhiro Umeda, who we met by chance later that day as he was setting up a 2-person exhibition with Shōji Inaba at Casa Estrelita next door to the Izu Chōhachi Art Museum.
