@griotspeak Good point. I tend to prefer dark, sci-fi, weird, but I still enjoy a healthy dose of absurd, high-energy shows and drama. I don't tend to go down the endless paths of #onepiece, etc. but I'll try anything once.

Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! episode 1 Impressions
This was a super fun first episode. Super Beautiful too. Character designs look great, the girls are all interesting and I like how the MC is the straight man here.
I'm looking forward to more of this show and cast. Bring on episode two!

I'm just :neocat_facepalm: with the official marketing name for 負けヘロインが多すぎる is... makeine.
It's pure #Japanlish ma-ke (hero)ine. But I keep reading it as make in knee, which is wrong in all the ways. I can also read it wrongly like caffeine... makeine...?
The Japaneses preferred short forms are マケイン (which sounds like McCain :neocat_facepalm: ) and マケヒロ (ma-ke hero).
