  1. #DigiArchMaintainathon motivated me to finally write a blog post about the integration of #futhark code into #rstats packages. I've done this last year for my ggpointgrid package and wanted to document the workflow since then.

This is a bit nerdy, admittedly, but maybe still interesting for people that come to R from a #functionalprogramming background. At least I myself will need this again eventually, so I'm glad that the #maintainathon gave me the push.

  6. Three weeks ago, we kicked off the first-ever #Maintainathon at the United Nations, and memories are beginning to settle in.

Together with this group of highly experienced open source maintainers, we created a special moment at #UNOpenSourceWeek.

Their hands-on expertise shaped the conversations and brought real-world insight into building open digital infrastructure — work done by few, but essential to all of us.

  7. It's great to be back in NYC this week for #UNOpenSourceWeek and #OSPOSForGood.
I'm here with my coworkers from the Sovereign Tech Agency @sovtechfund and an amazing group of open source experts, the people who help keep the digital tools and systems we all depend on running smoothly and securely.

Together with Alpha-Omega, we organized the #Maintainathon, a space during the week to focus on the people and projects that maintain open digital infrastructure. This kind of work often happens behind the scenes, but it's absolutely essential. It’s not just about starting something new; it's about keeping what we already rely on safe, stable, and available for everyone
