    @gbevin I use a new machine but it is very old-school in that it functions very like the 20 yo machine I was using (only replaced because it broke 3x in the early days of COVID when I was sewing masks, costing minimum$100/repair) which was very like the one my Mom used in the 1970's which was very like the one she used in the 1950's/'60's (which was a treadle machine, btw). I just saw a new high-tech one my friends got and I have NO IDEA how to use it. #sewing #machinesewing

    This time I'm using the sewing machine to reinforce the area in front of the pockets with a patch. I'm normally an advocate of hand stitching your mends but but I wanted to try something different
