  1. I've been enjoying an assortment of #kdrama lately and I especially enjoy that I no longer need to stare at the subtitles throughout a show, understanding more and more of the dialogue these days.
I really enjoyed season 2 of #LoveAlarm, which was less of a conventional romcom than a story about a young woman connecting to her complex feelings. I especially loved that she was running a marathon in #Jeju during the final episode.
Watching #PrisonPlaybook and it's as good as I was told, or better.

  2. @glitchontwitch I still need to watch #SweetHome and #LoveAlarm to round out my watching of #SongKang. I love the range of the work he does. #kdrama

  3. @EllenInEdmonton @whoosh actually I was a bit reluctant to start it because it doesn't have high ratings on MDL, but Netflix said it's a 98% match, so I trusted Netflix and I was right to do so.

I think many people don't like change of hearts. They believe in a one and true love and apparently they didn't go through puberty, youth, they don't have hormones, they can't relate to someone with a traumatic past and present, and so on 😂

  4. @whoosh I cried a bit during the last episode too. The FL story is heartbreaking 😭 but I'm very satisfied by the ending.

I can definitely see myself rewatching it in future!
    Loved it 💜

I watched this near the beginning of my kDrama journey so I wasn't keeping notes. But I did love it - cried buckets - a great kiss too.

Now that I know more about the culture, I want to watch it again, but don't know that my heart could take it.

Made me look for Song Kang's other work.

  6. #LoveAlarm #좋아하면울리는

This was a binge for both s1 and s2. A #kdrama so truthful and so insightful when it comes to relationships. The leads grow together with their feelings. The teenage passion your body can't resist to, the cage of emotional unavailability we need to overcome, the safety of a less consuming love and above all the arbitrary choice we consciously make to finally express our true selves.

Removing half point because of too many flashbacks.

    Vote: 9.5/10

  7. @jillithd @rLok I also really liked this one. I watched it a while ago, but it really makes you think about what it means to love someone - is it a conscious decision, is it something that is beyond our control?
