Still makes you wonder if humans are monsters, but no new revelations. With so many new characters & only 8 eps, the depth isn't there. Song Kang is only in a few eps. When we see him, an appreciation for how much he brings to the work as an actor is evident. As the story finally focuses on his character, we are drawn back in. Glad I persevered to see the last couple of eps, but I only held on in the middle in the hopes that S3 would be much better.

We see psychological struggles (child abuse, bullying, suicide) in the characters. The monsters, though mostly unique, seem to have a theme & can be funny in a dark way. The acting is superb & the cast worked well together.

At 1st we are introduced to many characters & deal with flashbacks, which can be confusing. Surprisingly, in 10 eps, we see a lot of char. dev. & feel something for these characters. With this star-studded cast, you never know who will survive the entire series, so dangerous situations are scary & intense. Questions about being human, compassion & empathy are brought up.

Just rewatched #UncontrollablyFond, which is heart-wrenching, mainly so that I could see #KimWooBin up close. Also watching The K2 in order to watch #JiChangWook in naked fighting scenes. #LeeMinHo in everything. #SongKang and so many more.
And, in #kdrama more than the lovely appearance of the MLs, it's the deep consideration and respect that they show towards their beloved that truly melts my heart!

My Dearest was the only one of those I watched.
Apparently, I really like "My" shows because #MyMister, also with #LeeSyunKun and #MyDemon with #SongKang is the newest show that I love. SO many others!! I'd have to review my Big List, and update #MyDramaList as well. I only started watching #kdrama last spring and I'm full-on obsessed now. I've learned a LOT of #korean and intend to visit next spring, if all goes well, circling the peninsula to hit all my favourite locations.

I liked #ForecastingLoveAndWeather for learning about meteorology. It was #SongKang and a strong FL. Also, #SearchWWW was excellent for strong FLs as well as learning about the world of search engines. I love when #kdrama teaches you about a totally new line of work.
Also, not an office drama, but #AnotherMissOh was awesome for learning about sound engineering. A lot of tears in that one, though.

A drama portraying relationships as I would expect them to be among university students.

#SongKang (#송강 ) in a ruthless seducer role literally gave me goosebumps 😍. The lead couple is extremely realistic and that is something I cannot write about most dramas.

The supporting cast did an excellent job too. A GL story in a Korean drama was a first for me.

It got a bit lagging in ep 8-9, but the final episode was really worth it.
