Not sure if I've ever shared this video before, but if nothing else it is worth sharing again.

If you've ever been into London Liverpool Street it's a pretty airy and light place [well apart from the high numbered platforms on the east side] and is one of the nicer terminal stations in the capital. Next door to the west was Broad Street which was being run down by British Rail at the time of filming - it shut in 1986.

The Broad Street side is now the Broadgate office development: British Rail obviously seeing the potential of flogging the site off as more office space was needed in London, especially after the Big Bang deregulation of financial markets in 1986.

Liverpool Street was spruced up and eventually completed by 1991.
