Wasn't really wet and not slippery enough to warrant the heaviest and softest assegai tire, and after having experienced just how much resistance and heft it provides I won't bring it out again unless it is pouring down, but I still had a great day out, and have never felt safer going downhill.

Whenever I have less than an hour to treat myself to some dopamine and endorphine before work, or just don't have the energy for a longer ride, I often find myself pedalling up or racing down past this viewpoint, but rarely taking the time to stop.
A couple of mornings ago I had to stop to snap a picture of the fairytale fog, and when I passed the same spot this morning I took a second photo just to see the difference.

Had a great day #trailriding in the forest and munching berries, arriving home so worn out that even my head went quiet for a couple of hours.
Now I'm munching magnesium, hoping to avoid waking up to the cramps that tend to tag along when I ride the hills like I'm young and fit. Still worth it, though!

Winter is coming!
Not too slippery, and most of the mud was still pliable even above 400 meters, but judging by the forecast it'll all be frozen solid by tuesday.

Went #trailriding, ate #blueberries, saw a million unfamiliar mushrooms, and didn't break myself nor my bike. A perfect sunday!
