It's the second anniversary of my retro space adventure, Liberation. Here's a new short story set in the same universe.
Granthar and Kaan are being held for interrogation. If they stick together their crimes can not be proved. But there's one small crack in their unity... they can't stand each other!

Took a punt on replacing the police ships in the game with space punks that randomly show up and attack. A big change. Just turned on the feature for the first time and had the most fun skirmish within about 5 minutes. Game dev definitely runs on faith sometimes 😅

I consider tutorials a failure of design and work hard so people of all skill levels should be able to just pick up and play one of my games.
Obviously I usually fall waaaay short of that lofty goal but just watched someone play Liberation and they did mostly figure it out. Good feeling.

New ship for #LiberationGame -- the garbage scowl. Even though the game is inspired by UK scifi I have to slip in a bit of Australian post-apocalyptic fetish aesthetic every now and then.
Luckily it doubles as a "are you mummy" / cyberman tear drop kind of thing too.
