Testing out the new lens. My Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L had a catastrophic failure (fell in half), and the repair costs were not worth it.

So to replace it, I have opted to go "off brand" and try a Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 OS Contemporary lens.

Pretty happy with the sharpness, and the the image stabilisation, with absolutely no tweaking of settings.

ƒ/6.3 ISO 6400, 1/25th sec at 600mm on an APS-H (1.3x crop) sensor.
