In the spirit of sharing my successes and especially frustrations when #LearningFinnish, I’d like to confess that apparently for more than a year I have been thinking that people ask me whether I’d like some water when they’d actually been asking me whether I need to use the bathroom (vettä/vessa)
If you’re a language teacher, please consider teaching this very important phrase to your pupils in the very first lesson!

Today we learned the 72 different declinations of the words "which", "both", and "neither". Today we also concluded that the number of people who have not survived learning Finnish is greater than zero.
