Dneska jsem chtěl trochu zabrouzdat do historie mé konverzace s vedoucím Bakalářky, kterou jsme vedli v Microsoft Teams, jakožto oficiálním školním kanálu.

Bohužel tím že jsem s dokončením balkánského studia studium ukončil mi škola účet v Teams zrušila. Takže konverzace s ním, jinými vyučujícími a spolužáky, na které to byla často i jediná komunikační metoda, už asi nikdy nuvidím. Fakt super...

Tak jen pro ostatní, abyste si své školní/pracovní či jiné účty v Teams a podobných platformách nějakým způsobem zálohovali. Je to taková nedozírná nevhoda přechodu z klasického e-mailu na proprietární organizací ovládané komunikátory. Mě to nenapadlo. 🤷

Gauge swatch pro tip: if your piece is knit in the round, best to do a gauge swatch in the round if size really matters.

For example, if you have a motif that has a pattern row on round one and a knit row on round two, it's tempting to swatch flat, converting that to pattern row/purl row.

But if your knits and purls have a different tension (and they probably do) then your gauge swatch won't represent the final piece.

Have a photo of your passport in the cloud so that they let you into your paid hotel room if your passport gets stolen. Have 2 spare passport format photos in a separate bag (mine are in my first aid kit) so that you don't have to hike up-the-hill down-the-hill searching for a photo studio that charges €25 for 4 shitty photos. #travel #LearnedTheHardWay

Many companies I have worked with over the years were so in love with their companies and products that they rarely focused on their users.
