Okay #AskFedi does anyone have any text-based beginner resources on how to get started with turning a software manual that I have as a digital file into a fully bound book by hand?
Like, I imagine I'm going to prepare the text by using a word processor to properly layout the digital file, then I'm going to print it, and then I'm going to somehow do some folding and cutting magic to wrangle the printed A4 pages into something in the proper format, and then I'm going to use some arcane magicka to properly connect the pages and create a cover.
Resources about any step in the process appreciated, e. g. layouting, zinemaking, book binding, et cetera.
I'm also going to look things up myself on the web (yay #Marginalia), but I'd like human pointers too.
