I finally uploaded the PDF for the most recent #zine . This is a collaborative zine my friend Caerme and I made, about the latest game we're obsessing over: #Morimens
I still haven't fixed my cache loading issue, and since this zine is 28 pages long, it might take a while to fully load. Sorry about that!

Tonight at 6pm we're capping off a busy day with a mini zine workshop from Alex L. Combs and Andrew Eakett, creators of "Trans History, A Graphic Novel"! Participants will leave with a completed mini-zine ready for small press shows, portfolios, and trading with friends. Alex and Andrew will also be signing copies of their essential introduction to trans history, available today at a special price.

Yesterday I met up with a friend of mine and we both made a zine! This zine is about the word "bramble".

ho hi! I updated my online print shop this morning 🌸
➡️ https://remi-tootata.sumupstore.com ⬅️
In addition to my usual linocut prints, you can now find two digital illustrations printed in gorgeous colours and textures at my new local print shop, as well as my small Pocket Exhibition zine (in french only) that combines digital line drawings and carved mini-prints.
I'm very proud of these new projects and i love how they turned out, i hope i'll be able to make many more soon!
Boosts are greatly appreciated, thanks as always for your support 💕 i love you!

Okay #AskFedi does anyone have any text-based beginner resources on how to get started with turning a software manual that I have as a digital file into a fully bound book by hand?
Like, I imagine I'm going to prepare the text by using a word processor to properly layout the digital file, then I'm going to print it, and then I'm going to somehow do some folding and cutting magic to wrangle the printed A4 pages into something in the proper format, and then I'm going to use some arcane magicka to properly connect the pages and create a cover.
Resources about any step in the process appreciated, e. g. layouting, zinemaking, book binding, et cetera.
I'm also going to look things up myself on the web (yay #Marginalia), but I'd like human pointers too.

It's #InternationalZinemonth ! Went in a bit of a fugue state and made this #zine all by hand the old-fashioned way!
Was really inspired by brattyxbre! Go watch her cool videos!

A bit of a different post today, but it's art and I made it and I had an amazing time doing so!
I took part in a Zine workshop yesterday and I had an incredible time, it reminded me how much I LOVE collaging/scrapbooking, and how freeing it is.
I made 16 pages of fish... And I couldn't be happier with what I created 🥰
A few people already asked me to print copies of it, should I? Would you get one? Please let me know and... I might make more...

The stifling heat following an ultra-brief thunderstorm and the national holiday should be excuse enough to put off any hard housework and stay in the coolest (27°C) room.
There, all I can do (imagine, my laptop has no internet connection) is embroider, paint, write by hand or sleep. So I’ll finally finish the #Zine! Purely handmade by a real human.

I made this illustration awhile ago for my blog post. It encapsulate the zine making process so much in my opinion haha.
Scribbledidoodlediscribs ... back to handmade. Illustration for my next blog post. I want to write about creative human work, and how I re-discover some old techniques like zines and doodling as an antidote to slop machines and slop cultists.
The intuitive #doodling helps me surprisingly well to sort my ideas!

for the last few weeks in my snail mail club I’ve been doing some little weekly vlogs, this is the first one where I’m speaking on camera 😬 and it’s definitely a work in progress and kind of awkward 😅 but I’ve made it available to all the snail club members (free ones included) and you are welcome to join for free and watch if you’d like :)

I'm working & can't go. Sharing for others who may be interested in attending.
RAVEN Trust - Respecting #AboriginalValues and #Environmental Needs #nonprofit based in #VictoriaBC.
Join RAVEN this weekend for another round of Solastalgia: Addressing #Climate Anxiety through #CommunityBuilding and #ArtMaking. This will be our second #zinemaking #workshop. We will come together to discuss our climate anxieties (and potential actions we can take to address them) through community building and art-making. This #handsOn zine-making workshop will offer an opportunity to express some of our fears, ideas, and dreams when it comes to a more just and livable future.
Two awesome facilitators leading this workshop. Aneri Garg, #RAVENTrust Development Coordinator, and Desiree Wallace, a documentary filmmaker, digital campaigner, and organizer with #StandEarth.

This chapter is one of my favorites: a good introduction to the franchise and a bellwether of if it's grossness is for you.
